Bnei Mitzvah Program
Mark the occasion of your child becoming a Bar/Bat Mitzvah in a meaningful and memorable way. Each child who participates in the program has their own individual plaque on our gorgeous Bar/Bat Mitzvah Wall on the Dining and Events Hall of the Center, with their name, date and hometown. In addition, when families visit, we arrange a special tour, make a presentation to the celebrant and arrange for them to participate in an activity with Shalva’s children. This is a tremendous statement of support for inclusive values.
Care Packages
Make special “care packages” for Shalva’s children participating in the respite program. Pack a bag with items that will enhance their sleepover, and affix custom labels on the bag marking this special chessed activity.
Shalva Band
Want to add some excitement to your simcha? Ask us how to reserve the Shalva Band to perform at your celebration. The Shalva Band is world renowned for their talent and inclusive approach. Another great social initiative from the Shalva organization. Special rates apply for events in the Shalva National Center.
A special event for a child with disabilities
It is obviously also an IDEAL place to host the Bar or Bat Mitzva of a child with disabilities. Every detail of the event will focus on what is best for the child making it an incredible experience.
