WHAT IS DEBATING?
Debating is the world’s most popular way of learning persuasion, public speaking, argumentation and rhetoric. It is a thrilling, challenging game, in which you learn to argue convincingly and confidently as well as to speak charismatically in front of an audience.
This workshop will have both a Beginner and an Advanced group and is therefore open to both those who have previous experience in debate and public speaking and those who are trying it out for the first time!
The debate coaches are internationally ranked debaters with years of experience and success in both Israel and around the world. They will be working closely will all participants to provide them with the best (and most fun) debating experience.
Who is this Workshop good for?
- Anyone who sees themselves in a leadership position.
- Anyone who wants to improve the her/his self – confidence, and oral skills.
- Anyone who needs to improve their English!
- Anyone who wants to learn how to think, speak and present themselves better.
All participants are welcome, and we pride ourselves on having brought together teens from all religious and cultural backgrounds to debate and learn with one another.
The Debate Event
Parents are invited to come to the Debate Event at the end of the workshop to see what their kids have learned – subject to Corona guidelines at the time.
