Day camp runs from July 1-July 22
The camp is for locals and tourists. This year due to covid there will not be any overnight options.
This is a camp for serious players and training takes place at Jerusalem’s brand new premiere sports complex at the YMCA, located across from the King David Hotel. Featuring two state of the art gyms, weight rooms, indoor pool and much more.
FIJ Important Notice – Summer Camps in Jerusalem have begun registration and are hoping that within the next few weeks the government will officially issue permission for camps to open just as they did for schools. It is the responsibility of each parent to check the camp is working within the official guidelines, as issued by the Israeli Ministry of Health, before the first day of camp.
The program will be run in full compliance with all health regulations in place at the time of camp. (Campers will bring their own food, masks, etc.) All programming/special guests subject to change.
We are waiting to hear if the NBA players will be allowed into the country once the skies open.
Tamir has run camps and clinics around the world and has worked at prestigious basketball camps including Nike NBA Camp, ABCD Adidas Camp, and Five Star International. Tamir has run basketball camps with Israeli NBA Star Omri Casspi and has extended programs at leading summer camps including Camp Nesher and Camp Ramah.
]]>Camp Dror is a Jewish Orthodox sleepaway camp that takes place in Northern Israel for youth from Israel and from abroad.
The Camp Dror summer experience deepens Jewish identity through learning in a fun environment. The campers develop a strong connection to Am Yisrael and Eretz Yisrael by touring Israel and through the American-style camp activities.
A summer at Camp Dror promotes self-development, learning Jewish texts, and Jewish enrichment, as well as strengthening the connection to the Land of Israel through exploring nature and volunteering in the community.
It is a great opportunity for visiting kids to integrate into an Israeli camp program and to meet local Orthodox kids.
The 2.5 week camp is for campers entering 5th – 10th grade. (See below for leadership program for 11- 12 grade campers)
Camp Dror is organized by the OU and is run on two separate campuses for boys and girls. Transportation to/from camp is included from major cities across Israel including Jerusalem.
Boys Camp Location: Hispin (Golan Heights)
Girls Camp Location: Moshav Keshet (Golan Heights)
Camp activities include Kayaking, Hiking, Swimming, Ice skating, Sail boating, Jeep tours, Team Sports, Learning groups, Drama, Cooking, Martial arts, Outdoor training, Arts and crafts, Social games, First aid workshops, survival workshops, Zumba, Color war, Campfires, Capture the flag and more.

Certified first aid personnel and armed security personnel are on the campgrounds 24 hours a day. The camp runs under the strict regulations of the Ministry of Education.
In order to get the most out of the camp experience, Camp Dror has a no cell phone policy and collects all cell phones on the first day. Campers are given a chance to call home from their cellphones on Fridays. You can also email your child through the camp email address and they will receive a printout.
A perfect summer experience for youth entering grades 11th and 12th grades and for those that have just graduated.
The Camp Dror International Leadership Program empowers and exposes the participants to a multitude of professional fields of interest. The program allows the campers to expand their horizons and examine their role as young men and women within your families, your communities, and as part of Am Yisrael, now and in the future.

]]>BIG IDEA international tech camps are connecting teens and kids to Israel since 2008. This summer, kids and teens ages 7-18 from Israel and abroad, will meet in Israel and have a life-changing experience.
Over a 2 week session, campers will get hands-on experience in the workshops. Design, cyber, photography, gaming, music, wave surfing, robotics and so many more options. The campers at BIG IDEA come from around the world. They are all curious, interesting and awesome! The spoken language at camp is English. It is a pluralistic religious environment and everyone is made to feel welcome. Workshops will not be held on Shabbat and campers can choose to join a Shabbat program if they want to.
